Modern Italian designer jewelry draws from traditions in fine craftsmanship that dates back centuries. In many of the works by classical Italian jewelry designers, one can see traces of Egyptian, Greek and Asian cultures that have long mingled in the Mediterranean. Gold and sterling silver are the most frequently used metal in Italian designer jewelry. The demand for Italian designer jewelry is the result of high production standards along with originality, quality and diversity. The history of craftsmanship of Italian designer jewelry has always been highly valued, whether it was for gold, sterling silver or gemstone pieces.

Founded by Joseph Curto and Italian master jeweler Giuseppe D'Arcangelo, Jaded Jewels is a truly a gem on New York’s Madison Avenue. Jaded’s distinctive signature look features semi-precious and pearl jewelry with seasonally-inspired stones in ruby, amethyst, peridot, citrine, blue topaz, onyx, hematite, carnelian, quartz and crystal. Italian craftsmanship is alive and well at Jaded, where every piece is hand-made in workshops above the store. Bronze is carefully cast by the traditional wax process. Historical references play out in fine details.

This necklace features loose strands of rough 24K gold nuggets set against delicate beads of sea-colored fluorite and rosy tourmaline. Pair it with our matching 8” bracelet. Hand made in Italy.
